Almost every major industry in the world, in overt and subtle ways, has a foundation that is built on the denial of the inevitable reality that everyone who has ever come into this world, including you all who are reading this Substack, will die. This is the existing reality with which many of us contend to no avail.
Now, I imagine many of you are wondering what this assertion and the Buckminster Fuller quote above have to do with why most DEI efforts were always doomed to fail.
